   This past summer, the Grand Excursion brought Lansing together with other communities of the upper Mississippi River
for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

An extensive renovation of Lansing’s
Kee High School and the New Albin Elementary School  is to begin this summer.

and craftspeople demonstrate and

Follow the Bird Migration
Every fall, Lansing hosts an annual Birding Fest to celebrate the migration of tundra swans and many
other species.

And in October, take a driving tour to view regional artists working at their craft.
River Cleanup Day
We take pride in our river.
Each year we organize volunteers for a River Cleanup day.
