I have stayed at the Red Barn numerous times and have always enjoyed myself. Dennis and his wife run a great little restaurant besides having a clean and gorgeous setting. If you like to fish, the stream is loaded with trout. Just take a walk and you have a trout dinner in a short time. They have great shower facilities as well as firewood. There is a bike trail into Lansing where restaurants offer good food at affordable prices. They also have a funky shopping place called Horsefalls. There's a great hardware store if you need those sorts of things which also has a good supply of fishing tackle.
