    Where does your donation go?


    By donating in Main Street Lansing, we can remain focused on the growth and development of Lansing. Towns our size don’t often have a nationally accredited program and we are proud of our efforts to reflect, improve, and invest in the betterment of our community. We execute our mission through business recruitment, community engagement, and effective communication to keep residents and visitors informed. We work closely with the city and other organizations to keep Lansing moving forward. 

    As we enter into the second decade of Main Street Lansing, we are asking our investors - past and future - to be our long-haulers in Lansing’s future. We cannot do it without your help! You are the heartbeat of our community and we are here to keep it pumping.

    Our Recent Work and Support Includes: 

    • Attending regional gatherings to bring the best ideas to our community from around the country
    • Hosting RAGBRAI as the end town in 2022 - resulting in $115,000 in funds for our community
    • Website and social media support of businesses in Lansing
    • Provide training designed to help grow our local businesses
    • Promoting Lansing through social media and other marketing efforts
    • Holding Ribbon Cutting ceremonies for all new businesses in Lansing
    • Hosting promotional events throughout the year to drive foot traffic: Taste of Lansing, Labor Day Sidewalk Sales, Holiday Punch Card Event, Lansing Downtown Dollars, etc.
    • Developing policy designed for community growth: county facade program, local residential tax abatement policy, downtown map creation, and distribution.
    • The renovation of the Main Street Plaza and world class mural by Erik Burke
    • Beautification efforts: downtown planter boxes and trash cans, facade upgrades, and more!!
